Vote for Your Chamber "Stars"
Hendersonville is blessed with businesses large and small that provide diverse services and products for people in our community and customers around the globe. The vibrancy of our business community will be on full display as the Chamber recognizes the Small and Large Business of the Year, Volunteer of the Year and Ralph G. Hanning Lifetime of Service Awards at the annual Night Among the Stars Awards Banquet. Membership votes will determine the winner in each category. The event will take place on Friday, June 15, 2012, 6:30 pm at Bluegrass Country Club and promises to be a fun and relaxing evening of celebration.
A committee recently narrowed down the nomination field to five in both the Small and Large Business fields and ten in the Volunteer field. The criterion for businesses includes such things as customer service, community service, innovation and leadership within their professions.
Nominees for Large Business are First State Bank, Hendersonville Christian Academy, Just for Kids Teeth – Dr. Bill Taylor, MGM Industries and Sumner Roofing.
Nominees for Small Business are Active Spine & Joint, McClouds Lawn and Landscape Services, ScarTula’s Real Italian Ice, Schenk Photography and Signs Now.
Nominees for Volunteer are Don Ames, Cheri Anderson, Jim Bachman, Jeff Brimm, Jim Butera, Don Claussen, Tom Gillingham, Ken Lewellyn, Julie White and Mary Anna Womeldorf.
Each of the above listed companies and volunteers are deserving of this recognition and the Chamber leaves the final decision in the hands of the membership to choose the winners. Please take a moment to vote for your choice in each category by taking our survey at http://survey.constantcontact.com/survey/a07e5vs1dyuh1pfi45u/start. Voting will end May 14th.
