This year’s event will be held on May 22, 2010 and will have a focus on safety. We are in the process of inviting local groups with safety programs to participate in our event as safety is such an important issue for every parent in the local community. Primrose wants to raise awareness of safety issues and help educate children and parents to avoid any unforeseen circumstances in the future.
While our focus on safety may be a theme for this year’s event, our event is also really focused on bringing local families in the community together with local businesses. We hope you’ll join us in this effort and will become a sponsor of our school’s Spring Fling!
Funds raised at our Spring Fling will be donated to the Special Olympics of Middle TN. A portion of the proceeds from our event this year will also go to Reach Out and Read, a national, not-for-profit organization that fosters early childhood literacy and reaches more than 3.3 million children between the ages of 6 months and 5-years-old by providing them with a book at well child visits. Last year, Primrose Schools across the nation joined forces and raised $190,000 for Reach Out and Read and almost $200,000 for other charities in local communities across the nation.
This year we have a new program for generous sponsors, or as we prefer to call you, “Champions for Children!” We hope that you will support our school and our children as they work hard with their families and teachers to host a fantastic event that brings together the local community and helps to educate families on important safety issues. We have several sponsor levels this year and we hope you will find one that meets your needs or the needs of your business.
