Purpose:

To promote business through a variety of marketing activities and to provide unique opportunities for members to promote themselves to other members and the Hendersonville Community.

Programs:

Taste of Hendersonville This annual event is a taste of all our city has to offer. This event is the opportunity for local restaurants, grocers and caterers to showcase their dishes to the public in one evening of food, fun, and entertainment. This event will be held September 23, 2010. Committee Chair: Gilda York, Ambassadors Formalwear by Gilda.

Business Showcase This annual event in its fourth year is a Business expo that allows 60+ members to set up shop for an evening of exposure to other members and the community. This event takes place March 25, 2010. Committee Chair: David Pemberton, Jon Shelby Insurance.

Women's Business Showcase This year the Chamber will be hosting an event to promote Women-owned businesses to the public and other members of the Chamber. This event will take place in the fall. Committee Chair: Dr. Megan Johnson, Family Wellness Connection.

Home Show The Home Show allows your business the chance to showcase your offerings in an environment geared towards homeowners seeking quality home-improvement products, services and lifestyle items. This two-day event also provides an opportunity for you to provide seminars and door prizes that will enhance your visibility to consumers. This event takes place Friday, February 26th and Saturday, February 27th 2010. Committee chairs are Donna Clark, OPEN Doors Realty and Jay Tucker, Swim World Pools

Chamber Golf Classic This event is a fund-raiser for the Chamber's ECD program. Funds will be used to provide special community events and to promote business interests in Hendersonville. The Chamber Golf Classic takes place every April. Committee Chair: Debbie Ryckeley, Prudential Woodmont Realty.

Trolley’s & Truffles  a retail-member based event. Trolleys filled with excited shoppers will visit area retailers for a chance to kick off the holiday shopping season. This event takes place in November. Committee Chair: Scarlet Morgan, The Trendy Trunk
